OUR HISTORY
UP Industries (Pvt) Ltd. has a long & rich history of serving quality paints to the Pakistani consumers. We started operations in 1978 from Lahore and quickly gained popularity through our leading brand ‘SILVER SAND’. We also introduced a value brand under the brand name of ‘SUPREMA’ to serve all segments of the market. We expanded our presence slowly and steadily to build distribution all over Pakistan and increased our range to include all segments of paints i.e. Decorative, Industrial, Refinish & Specialty paints.
We continuously invested in R&D and improved our machinery to ensure that we stay as one of the top-quality paint manufacturers in the country. We invested in the right technical people, laboratory and improved machinery. This investment paid off and we were seen by people as one of the best quality paints. Over a period of these four decades the company grew from a small to a modern and dynamic enterprise.

We have invested in leading edge machinery to ensure that we are able to provide high quality paint consistentlyWe are conscious of our environmental footprint and have not only invested in Solar heavily & are also eagerly collaborating with international companies on Green Chemistry and latest innovations in Paint industry on that front.

Business has now been passed over to the next generation. Waqas Javed (our CEO) has over twenty years of experience in working with multinational companies (like Coca-Cola & Unilever) across the world. Our COO Ahsan Javed, has been working in our company for over ten years now.
The new team is trying to enthuse new spirit into the business, and we are trying to rally behind a mission of ‘Beautifying Pakistani Lives’ through manufacturing & selling top quality paints and by using our profits to improve lives of people around us. We are proud of our heritage of gaining customer trust through providing consistently high-quality paint & we aim to retain this image and improve upon it. Therefore, we are continuously investing in the business processes, machinery and team as well as expanding our range & distribution.
